Well, what i day i have been searching endlessly for a December holiday vacation...

N.B.   Don't leave it late!

Seriously, my mom always said that, but now i see why.

I read such an interesting thing today...i don't know if you all know this yet but Ingrid Newkirk is THE person of PETA.She has now stated her will of her body after she dies..its incredible! She wants her body cut up and given to her cause...wonderful right?
Wonderful as in the fact that til death she shall take her passion and cause with her.

Would you do something like that?

It's hard to face death, for some people that is...for me it's not, i don't like it but i can come to terms with it....my dad died when i was 18 and in Matric...it was hard and personally i was happy that we gave him an open casket, it gave me a sense of closer.

Now that's what some humans feel.

You cant tell me that the animals that they live next to ( for however long )wont be a loss to them when they are gone...how about watching your friend die, with it screaming with pain and all you can do is wait for your turn.

How would it feel if you had to watch lives being taken one by one in a row and realize at that point that your turn is 5 more down the line and that YOU ARE GOING TO DIE...not gracefully, not respectfully but with hatred and a non concerned mass murderer.

Your life will be lost, you'll never see your family and friends again and the likely hood that your life's injustice will come to the public eye or even raise an eyebrow over so that your life was lost in vain and that you will be the last to suffer...








Well my lil animal friend....the likely hood of that is ZERO.

Sad right!





But the best part is things are changing...for the better...these animals life story's are reaching a "biggish" amount of the public eye and the best is that people are caring! So things are starting to change.

Change....ahh....yup just as good as a holiday ;)

Well at least if i cant get a place to stay in December and I'm stuck in Joburg, I'm going to change my apartment around!
Think about it :)

Looong Weekend

Hi all

So how was your long weekend?

Mine was boring busy....yup i don't think that my English there is very good but it explains the fact that the things that kept me busy were very boring!

I did have a picnic though...it was great i took my Chihuahua Blossom with and my friend brought her puppy Lucy....it was great having all that fresh air, plus the weather was great!

However i was exhausted this morning! I blame it on the fresh air and naughty food!
So i took a back seat on life today...nothing productive happened today at all...i still need to do the proposal, but I'm nearly done with it, but i couldn't find it in me to do it, i'm exhausted! And as for PnP...I'm still waiting for my hamper and they still need to tell me about the cheese and bread issues of getting that in, but i didn't follow up on anything today - I'll do it tomorrow.

You know there is nothing wrong with having an unproductive day, really some days you just need a time out!

And today believe me you are lucky to even get a post from me... I'm battling to keep my eyes open.

As for the update on the campaigns...ARG it's taking much longer than expected, because learn something from me...if you want something done ( especially with the Vegan/animal rights South African folk ) ....
                                                  

Seriously, if you ask for someone else to do it...it'll take forever or never get done...try to do it the best you can and all by yourself and then find trustworthy people along the way that can help....Note the 'trustworthy'. This will definantly speed up the process.

I'm having a meeting with someone tomorrow and with someone else on thursday...so my days from tomorrow become as busy as usual. NEED SLEEP!!!... :)

Did any of you see the PETA awards hosted by Alec Baldwin...must of been pretty cool cause i really like him, he's from - 30 Rock. And i really like that show....on another note i also love The Big Bang Theory.....now that show is amazing!

Onto another point - If your family doesn't stand by your animal activism or vegan lifestyle keep in mind you are not the only one :)

I never get support for the things that i do, however i know its the right thing.
So no matter if i get support from my family or not, i know that this is right and that in my life i have the power to do something great, just like all of you.
And if anybody out there including family are here to tell me that doing the right thing is wrong, then i'm sorry...you can GO AND JUMP!

Because i know that cruelty is wrong!And it's good to make a stand in your life. Especially for those who are less fortuate than you. Be it humans or animals.

Well guys it's the long weekend....YAY.

I didn't want to talk about any heavy things because i want to leave this post on a happy note - well unfortunately whilst looking for a happy topic i came across this.....

THEY TATTOO THEIR PETS!!!

I mean come on what the hell....whats next?

People don't understand that as humans we have a great amount of power and an even greater amount of responsibility...doing this to living things that are lower than us on the food chain is not of a positive effect, it's of a 'let's throw our power around thing'.

Seriously, you telling me that this is what people think of in their spare time?

LOSERS!!!

Just think of how much you think about having a tattoo for yourself and now think of an animal not having a choice? Is that fair?

ARG...people really infuriate me!

Any who, lets try and look on the bright side of a long weekend and think of how refreshed we will be on Monday to kick butt in the animal cruelty world!
