Now to the exciting... I found these cute lil jokes so i thought i might share...
Horse And Chicken
A horse and a chicken are playing in a meadow. The horse falls into a mud hole and is sinking. He calls to the chicken to go and get the farmer to help pull him out to safety. The chicken runs to the farm but the farmer can't be found. So he drives the farmer's Mercedes back to the mud hole and ties some rope around the bumper. He then throws the other end of the rope to his friend, the horse, and drives the car forward saving him from sinking! A few days later, the chicken and horse were playing in the meadow again and the chicken fell into the mud hole. The chicken yelled to the horse to go and get some help from the farmer. The horse said, "I think I can stand over the hole!" So he stretched over the width of the hole and said, "Grab for my 'thingy' and pull yourself up." And the chicken did and pulled himself to safety.
The moral of the story:
If you are hung like a horse, you don't need a Mercedes to pick up chicks.
Rudolph's Medical Bill
Santa Claus brings poor Rudolph to the vet. He says to the vet, "Doctor, please do something for my Rudolph. His nose won't light up." The vet walks out of the room and returns with a pet carrier. He places the pet carrier next to the reindeer, opens it and out steps a cat. The cat walks around the reindeer and sniffs it. The cat then walks back into the carrier. The animal doctor takes it out of the room and returns. He hands Santa Claus the bill. Santa gasps, "$350 dollars! You didn't do anything for my Rudolph and you're charging me $350 dollars?" The vet shrugged and replied, "That's the usual charge. $50 dollars for the office visit and $300 dollars for the CAT SCAN."
Three Dogs...and a Collie
The Taco Bell Chihuahua, a Doberman and a Bull dog are in a doggie bar having a drink when a very nice looking female Collie comes up to them and says, "Whoever can say 'liver' and 'cheese' in a sentence can be my top dog." So the Doberman says, "I love liver and cheese." The Collie says, "Sorry, that's not good enough." The Bull dog says, "I'll have some liver and cheese, please." She says, "Sorry, that's not creative enough." Finally the Chihuahua says, "Liver alone......cheese mine."
Talented Dog
A local business was looking for office help. They put a sign in the window, stating the following: "HELP WANTED. Must be able to type, must be good with a computer and must be bilingual. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer."
A short time afterwards, a dog trotted up to the window, saw the sign and went inside. He looked at the receptionist and wagged his tail, then walked over to the sign, looked at it and whined.
Getting the idea, the receptionist got the office manager. The office manager looked at the dog and was surprised, to say the least. However, the dog looked determined, so he lead him into the office. Inside, the dog jumped up on the chair and stared at the manager.
The manager said "I can't hire you. The sign says you have to be able to type." The dog jumped down, went to the typewriter and proceeded to type out a perfect letter. He took out the page and trotted over to the manager and gave it to him, then jumped back on the chair.
The manager was stunned, but then told the dog "the sign says you have to be good with a computer." The dog jumped down again and went to the computer. The dog proceeded to enter and execute a perfect program, that worked flawlessly the first time.
By this time the manager was totally dumb-founded! He looked at the dog and said "I realize that you are a very intelligent dog and have some interesting abilities. However, I *still* can't give you the job."
The dog jumped down and went to a copy of the sign and put his paw on the sentences that told about being an Equal Opportunity Employer. The manager said "yes, but the sign *also* says that you have to be bilingual."
The dog looked at the manager calmly and said, "Meow!"

YAY XMAS FOR DOGGIES AND KITTYS!!!
I received this email from my friend and decided to show you all....it's such a clever idea and it's so much fun to do as a family too...have a look...
Hello everyone!
This year Puppies In Balance in conjunction withThinkingPets is holding a “Santa Shoebox” Christmas drive for the dogs and cats at various selected rescue organizations across South Africa and Mozambique. So far, we’ve selected Barking Mad, the Sandton SPCA, Kitty Shelter (Cat-a-holics) and Claw as the four JHB based rescue organizations, and we're busy identifying rescue organizations in the rest of South Africa and Mozambique. The idea behind this project is to collect necessary items that can then be distributed between the rescue organizations to help make Christmas special for all the dogs and cats in their care.
It’s really easy to participate – all you have to do if you want to take part in this project is to take an old shoe box and fill it with however many dog or cat related goodies you want – anything and everything is needed and welcome, from toys to treats, food, bowls, blankets, tick/flea control, deworming tablets, leads and harnesses… you name it! Once you’ve put your box together, you can wrap it in gift wrapping paper or anything else you have at home, mark if it’s for a cat or a dog (and if it’s a “dog box” – please indicate size I.e. Small, medium or large breed). Then, you can either drop it off at the Practice in Bryanston or any ThinkingPets school nationwide, or you can post it to ThinkingPets by the 30th of November, 2010. We’ll deliver it to the four rescue organizations in time for Christmas. Then, email all your friends and family and encourage them to participate as well. It’s as simple as that!
Every single contributor – be it an individual or a business – will be listed on our new website and Facebook page as a special thanks for helping to make a difference to the lives of those shelter pets and the people who look after them.
We have asked some of our supporting Vets to act as collection points for these shoe boxes or you can drop them at 177 Eccleston Crescent or 33 Devonshire Ave - both in Bryanston. Please also promote the idea to as many of your clients, friends and anyone else you can think of who may be interested.
Let’s make this a Christmas really special for all the shelter & township dogs and cats out there!
Kind regards
Niki Elliott
Don't you just think this is sooo cute!
Any who, think about it, it would really bring a lil bit of happiness to all the homeless animals out there.

Lets take a look at Zoosemiotics...
So some of my friends get irritated by my lil Chihuahua whining....literally. She doesn't bark but some days she is trying to say something so she whimpers/whines...it's very cute but can be annoying if you cant figure out what she is saying...
After some thought about animals desperately trying to communicate with humans i discovered this word - Zoo semiotics -
It means the study of animal communication.
We all hear about dolphins and there lil squeak squeaks and how they cleverly communicate with each other but i have never heard anything about dogs or cats...
I always get frustrated at the fact that animals can't speak because if they could they would really tell the human race where to stick it...i bet humans would be freaked out by that!
I've always thought of blossom whining as a way of her trying to communicate with me, but what we all know is the sounds that animals make...for woman it's way harder to repeat the noise effectively with out making a chop of yourself :)
It really bugs me some of the songs and things they do to mimic animals, i mean imagine if we all had to learn songs about different peoples language...i bet people wouldn't like that, now would they! Lets have a look.
Remember this - we all had to learn it when we were in nursery school...
"Old McDonald had a farm, eh ay eh ay oh, and on the farm he had a cow, eh ay eh ay oh, with a MOO MOO here and a MOO MOO there, here a MOO, there a MOO, everywhere a MOO MOO, old McDonald had a farm eh ay eh ay oh."
"Old McDonald had a farm, eh ay eh ay oh, and on the farm he had a pig, eh ay eh ay oh, with a OINK OINK here and a OINK OINK there, here a OINK, there a OINK, everywhere a OINK OINK, old McDonald had a farm eh ay eh ay oh."
"Old McDonald had a farm, eh ay eh ay oh, and on the farm he had a chicken, eh ay eh ay oh, with a CHEEP CHEEP here and a CHEEP CHEEP there, here a CHEEP, there a CHEEP, everywhere a CHEEP CHEEP, old McDonald had a farm eh ay eh ay oh."
Ok now some one tell me that that's not rude...imitating an animals sound, it's like when a dog barks and an human barks at it too...HELLO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? Lets have a look at the human version.
"Old McDonald had a house, eh ay eh ay oh, and in that house he had a french dude, eh ay eh ay oh, with a OUI OUI here and a OUI OUI there, here a OUI, there a OUI, everywhere a OUI OUI, old McDonald had a house eh ay eh ay oh."
"Old McDonald had a house, eh ay eh ay oh, and in that house he had a South African, eh ay eh ay oh, with a YEBO here and a YEBO there, here a YEBO, there a YEBO, everywhere a YEBO YEBO, old McDonald had a house eh ay eh ay oh."
"Old McDonald had a house, eh ay eh ay oh, and in that house he had a German, eh ay eh ay oh, with a NEIN NEIN here and a NEIN NEIN there, here a NEIN, there a NEIN, everywhere a NEIN NEIN, old McDonald had a house eh ay eh ay oh."
Yup, so that's definitely what I'm planning to teach my children to sing when they are four...try that on for size. Really isn't the song a bit rude? It's teaching children really bad habits from when they are young...children are like sponges and they absorb every bit of information that passes them by, some bad - some good. It's our responsibility as adults to make sure they learn more of the good stuff than the bad...so use your good animal sense to remind these kids that they must be respectful towards animals.
It's like kids that kick dogs...simple solution - cut off the children's legs, believe me it's full proof, they will never do it again! HEHEHEHE....I'm just joking, but it really does bug me!
Okey Dokey I'm off to study some science...one step closer to my goal...
Keep in mind, when you speak like an animal, it's probably laughing it's bum off at you.
Oh and as a none Zoo semiotic i bet if animals could speak, they would say -
I'M NOT YOURS TO EAT, GO EAT YOUR OWN KIND!
I'M NOT YOURS TO WEAR, IT'S MY SKIN SO BUZZ OFF!
YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TEST ON ME, SO DEAL WITH SHAMPOO BURNING YOUR SCALP!
IF YOU HUNT ME, KEEP IN MIND ONE DAY YOU'LL BE HUNTED TOO AND I WON'T GIVE YOU A HEAD START!
IF YOU TRY TO HARM ME IN SADISTIC GAMES, I'LL COME BACK AS YOUR EVIL ASS PAWN!
BITE ME...
I dunno it's just a guess :)
