So I haven’t written in forever, mainly because there hasn’t been any good info on animal rights recently, just a huge hype about the seal hunt in Canada and Namibia, plus I’ve been super busy, life wise.
Candice Bender one of our fellow colleagues in Spread the Word, has now officially left SA and is currently in London….wow, how I wish to travel again…She’s definitely sparked something in me…
So basically this post won’t be about anything urgent or of much importance, it’s just a quick update of a hello.
It’s getting chilly these days, so I’ve wrapped my lil Blossom (my Chihuahua) in a cute pink playboy jersey…I must admit I do like to dress her up, she loves it because people give her so much attention when she’s in her lil outfits…although when it comes to winter and her jersey, she’s a very happy bunny cause she can keep all warm, she loves it.
Chihuahua’s are generally lovers of the sun, she sits outside in the sun all day long, so when it comes to winter and the warmth a welcoming jersey is defiantly up her street, she’s actuall’y quite spoilt, I even put her blanket over the heater for a few minutes before I go to sleep so that she can snuggle up all nice and warm, plus she sleeps inside, on the couch! I insist on that. She doesn’t like those cute dog beds that you get she love a continental pillow and since it’s a pillow and not a bed, I refuse to let her sleep on the cold floor, it’s a bit of a mission because I’m always cleaning the couch just to be on the safe side that there is no hairs.
Plus yesterday I gave her a candle lit, bubbled doggie bath…like I said SPOILT….
I just love her a lot so I feel a lil bit of spoils, is ok.
I haven’t heard to much in the animal world but I am listening out so if I hear anything, I’ll let you know.
So basically to cut this short, this is all about my lil chihuahua Blossom and to let you know that their breed is not yappy and not aggressive and that all they need is lil spoils.
Kindness and Hope
Kelly-Leigh
P.S. Keep EVERYONE in your family warm this winter ;)
