All eyes on me in the centre of the ring - just like a circus...

Well my friend is going to be having a circus demonstration some time soon so i decided to let you know some info about why circuses are considered as the playground of animal cruelty...

Lets start with the basics - Elephants are wonderful elephant and actually are very much like us, plus a lil extra special animal quirks. Every one uses the term "...you have memory like an elephant", why?....well elephant are capable of meeting another elephant and then not seeing them again for years but when they do see them from years back they remember them...amazing right...just like they had seen them yesterday!

They are also very smart and hold a lot of emotions..A LOT....when they are sad they cry and when they are upset they can get very angry...they even are jealous of things and VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED...in fact when they are in a group if one of their baby elephant cry the whole herd goes to help, and if one of them dies they all morn and go and collect branches to cover them...as like a burial, just as we do...

Now picture this - bull hooks ( dunno what they look like? don't stress i will show you a picture) they are tough enough to cause pain for an elephant...it's scary to thing someone can hack at a living being with out feeling shame, it's a really messed up world we live in!

Ok so bull hooks aside, what is an average day for an elephant at a circus?

7am - Chained down with a small amount of food to start the day off.
8am - Practicing confusing steps with a continues stabbing of a bull hook to punish you for taking a break.
1pm - Water, maybe a little food if lucky.
2pm - Missing your daughter and family whilst waiting chained down for another show that you wish would
          stop.

2.30pm - A few bull hook stabs to show you who is in control.
3pm - Chained, and very thirsty due to the hold sun..
4pm - Realization that splashing your self with water in a water whole will never happen as long as you live.
5pm - Bull hook stabs and show time.
6pm - Still going...
6.30pm - Chained up, with a few more stabs...You body hurts and you sit and cry because of the pain.
7pm - Show time.
8pm - Still going

9pm - Coldness, darkness, fear, little bit of water and food, pain, loneliness, hopeless, tears.
7am - STARTS AGAIN...

Hey i got an idea lets see what elephants do during 5-6pm oh and 7-8pm....lets use our money to have fun, YAY....wait....isn't my money creating a demand for more circus tricks next year...HELL IT"S TRUE.....and you know what's even more true....next time you go to the circus ask the clowns if you can beat an elephant with a bull hook, after all you are paying for it!

STAY AWAY FROM THE CIRCUS OTHER WISE YOU TOO CAN BE BLAMED FOR THE PAIN!

Polly put the kettle on...

Well, well, well...if the world of testing on animals couldn't get any worse...

I just found out that they are testing green tea on rabbits...no that doesn't mean that the rabbits are having a nice cup of tea with Alice from Wonderland, nope, these animals are suffering terribly.

Once brought into the laboratory they are confined in small cages and fed very fatty foods in order to clog up their artery's and make them very ill, then after that process they feed them green tea and see if the green tea lowers their blood cholesterol or even betters their health, after the operations and force feeding most of them die of heart attacks and if they survive they will eventually face death...

If they are still alive and no longer needed, they have their heads chopped of by the savages that call themselves doctors.

GREAT LIFE HUH?

What makes this whole situation even worse is that there are so many people out their with heavy problems of clogged arteries, they could easily be used for these tests but instead they use friendly, smart pets.

IT'S SICK! AND THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR IT!

So what can us as activists do?

Step 1 - Don't buy the tea's that are produced by the companies that test.
              Simple huh :)
Step 2 - Tell everyone you know about this situation and try and explain
why it is that you are giving those brands up.
Step 3 - Write a letter to someone with authority that can have some power in
questioning it and maybe even changing it.

You may be one person but one person can make a change! Use me as an example...i write on this blog everyday and everyday the amount of people that go onto my blog increases...it may not do much but at least I'm trying...and that's all you need to do...TRY.

Any Who i need to go off to study a lil...

Keep trying because one day you will prevail. Trust me.

Sniff...

N.B. ALL PICTURES ARE OF ANIMALS THAT CAN BE ADOPTED.

I'm so frustrated!............today animal adoption really got to me. You know when you can handle all this animal cruelty and then sometimes you just cannot, well today i cannot.

I went through all of the pictures of animals up for adoption, it really upsets me to see full grown beautiful animals sitting and waiting for someone to care for them...and unfortunately i cannot help take them and look after them because i stay in an apartment plus i dunno how i could manage with so many pets. ARG, today is just a sad day....

I post an ad for one lucky animal from each organisation each week, yet i don't hear a single word off any of them being adopted... PLEASE ADOPT THESE CUTIES!!! I'M BEGGING.

But you know the problem is that you adopt one and there are so many more that keep on coming...so many more homeless pets.

Ok shake it off...when i feel helpless, which does happen sometimes with in your activism life you do this.............HOW CAN I BETTER THE SITUATION BETTER?

Lets see -

I can advertise for them.........
I can go and give them company in my free time....
I can donate to their organisations.....
I can foster them......
I can adopt them......
DONT BUY FROM PET STORES!!!!!!!!!!

ARG....is that it? Can anyone think of something else that i can do?

Right i feel like a few pick me ups, lets have a look at some jokes -

What's the best way to keep milk fresh?
Leave it in the cow.

What do you call a vegetarian who goes back to eating meat?
Someone who lost their veg-inity!

Meat-eater: Did you hear about the new study saying vegans are more likely to go blind? I guess it's because you don't get the proper nutrition.
Vegan: Nah, it's just from reading all of those tiny ingredients lists.

I'm not vegetarian because I love animals, I'm vegetarian because I don't like vegetables.

What did one vegetarian spy say to the other vegetarian spy?
We have to stop meating like this.

Isn't it weird that we drink milk, stuff designed to nourish baby cows? How did that happen? Did some cattleman once say, "Oh, man, I can't wait till them calves are done so I can get me a hit of that stuff."
Two chums were talking at a ballgame and one offered to buy the other a hot dog.
"No thanks," came the answer. "I'm a vegetarian. I mean, I'll eat a little white meat, but..."
"Oh, I understand. Hey, I'm no cannibal. I mean, I'll eat a few white people, but..."

A vegetarian, a meat-eater, and a cannibal walk into a bar, the veg' orders a salad, the other orders a burger, than the bartender asks the cannibal "anything for you?", so he replies, "no thanks, I'll wait till they're done."

Keep smiling and trying!

PERSISTANCE

Happy Meat Free Monday folks :)
I hope you are all getting out your veggies and Fry's nuggets out for dinner tonight...

So i went to the Fur Free S.A Demo at Hyde Park this Saturday...it was a great success and not only were people painted in red with fur and that people were in cages - but fliers were handed out by Jeremy Mansfield, YAY celeb power for a good cause!

It was fun but very hot, thank goodness for Kate and her well prepared batch of sun block, phew! I also got time to hang out with Lucy Elizabeth ( Sarah's dog) she's soooo soft!

Plus i saw Chantelle all painted in red, they all looked good.

So that's the catch up there...

On another note, i hope you are all still staying away from products that are tested on animals, it's a life choice that is on going and a reminder is always a help, so stay clear of all the yucky tested on animal goods, say NO to ANIMAL TESTING.

Now from the weird side...has anybody realized how many clothing brands use animals as their names? Why are people drawn to buying things that are named after animals yet feel no shame in abusing them? Weird right...so lets have a look at the names -

PEPPA PIG -

AMERICAN PIG -

OWL VS PIG -

MONOKU RO BOO -

THE SKINNY COW -

PURPLE COW -

FUNKY FISH -

HELLO KITTY -

My theory is because it's cute...yet no one wants to rub a real pigs tummy! So since animals are cool to most kids and people don't mind buying things from a company that is named after an animal my question is -

WHERE DID THE CRUELTY IDEA START?

Does anyone know? Because Matthew says that in order to solve a problem you have to find the problem, not find a solution....now we as animal activists know so many ways on how to tell, express and show people about the problems out there and we are even powerful enough to create associations and protests...but yet we are just SLOWLY getting there....how do we get faster?

Animal activism started before we even knew it - biblical storys tell you to respect all of god's creatures and within the Greek mythology there are god's who are very strict on not harming animals, plus in 1824 the first form of real action taken from an animal rights group started. We all know that the caring exists and it has been there for a very very long time but the question is when did the cruelty start?

Who said that harming animals is ok? Using them for entertainment, testing on them, hell the list could go on forever....but who said this was ok? Who was the sole person to start it?

When we find the linear effect - here's a small note.

WE WILL STAND OUR GROUND, WE WONT EVER GIVE UP, SO INSTEAD OF MAKING YOUR LIFE DIFFICULT, GIVE UP NOW CAUSE WE CAN GO ON FOREVER, THIS IS OUR PASSION AND PASSION CANNOT BE SUBSIDED, IT CAN ONLY GROW AND AT THIS POINT AND WITH THIS MUCH STRUGGLE BELIEVE ME I HAVE SEEN THE FACES THAT HAVE 'PERSIST' WRITTEN ON THEM...WE ARE GROWING IN NUMBERS EVERYDAY AND SOON WHEN THE WORLD AGREES WITH US, YOU WILL BE DEMOLISHED...YOUR WORK WILL HAVE TO COME TO A FULL FAST STOP AND WHEN IT DOES YOU WILL BE PUNISHED AND WHEN WE SEE YOUR FACES YOU WILL HAVE 'DEFEATED' WRITTEN ON THEM. BE WARNED - WE'RE COMING!

Have a wonderful evening and remember - Needles hurt them too, so say no to animal testing!
