Hi all

This is the last message before the big day this Saturday. 1 more sleep left!

I've realised that a lot of you are a bit panicked as to what will be happening, so here's the brief low down, at the event i will also be running through a few things with you to keep you all up to date as to where you should be and what you should be doing-

The process is that you will arrive and go through some admin, then you will go and get bare and cover yourself either with a gown or sarong or towel that you have brought, then you will wait in a cue for your turn and then go through into the studio where you will be alone with the 2 photographers and maybe me when i am checking the photo's.

The whole process will take max 4 min....and in comparison to the suffering that the animals go through on the fur farms for their lives, 4min of embarrassment wont be such a suffering.

It is going to be very tasteful and no bits and pieces will be shown, plus if your afraid of a lil bumps and lumps we will be photo shopping your photo.

You will not be made to feel uncomfortable at all, and it will be very private.

After that the pictures will be sent to PETA and no where else, if you would like a copy , it's based on request, so all you have to do is e-mail me at spreadtheword@hotmail.co.za and ask for your copy.

There will be lots of stickers and pamphlets about our other causes, thanks to sarah and i will probably be available to talk to you about a few of them, depending on how the day goes :)

For the ladies, all make-up and hair must be done before you arrive, keep it simple though as we are trying to portrait a natural form of a human being ;)

No props or sunglasses will be aloud, this is a BARE ALL. . . the only thing that you will bring into the studio will be your naked self (that includes no underwear and bra's) and a covering of your choice ( sarong, towel, gown ).

Please be there at 2.30 sharp!

Now for the last nasty's - sorry guys - This event as reiterated is for those who cannot speak and suffer, the animals, this is a pleasant exciting event and i would appreciate it if we kept it that way, any miss behaving or in appropriate behaviour will lead to instant dismissal and i will quite easily remove you with my very own bare hands or with one of my kind assisting gentlemen. We all want to feel great about this huge commitment, lets embrace it and not destroy it.

Great that's enough with the poopy bits :)

If you need to ask me anything else feel free to contact me.

I hope to see you there!

Lets make the change we want to see in others :)

Kindness and Hope

Everyone's "Melindie Moment"...

Well i had a swarm of e-mails this morning about the anti-fur shoot...things are starting to heat up, because thanks to Ashley from PETA Asia Pacific the whole 200+ people that she knows are now allerted about the campaign.

So typing was my job the whole of this morning until now 3pm...plus i work so life today has been crazy!

My friend has a blog and on their is a piece about fur written by a person, it's quite interesting actually, she has a whole lot of cool stuff on their if you looking for an alternitive trip on animal life check it out on-
http://thesarahharrisonchronicles.blogspot.com/

On another note - i got this e-mail that was sent around in my office and i thought that i would share it with you all...

"Denmark is a big shame!

The sea is stained in red and in the meanwhile it’s not because of the climate effects of nature.

It's because of the cruelty that human beings (civilised human) kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins.

This happens every year in Feroe Iland in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants are young teens.

 WHY?

A celebration, to show that they are adults and mature!

In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other, killing or looking at the cruelty “supporting like a spectator”

It is necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, it’s near extinction and they get near men to play and interact in PURE friendship.

They don’t die instantly; they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks. And at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child.

But he suffers and there’s no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood

Enough!

My friend Melindie was totally upset about this, since this was her first look at animal cruelty-SHAME! I felt so bad! Remember when you first saw animal cruelty? I do...it felt like i couldn't comprehend why a human would do such a thing...it made me honestly feel sick and it made me feel like i wanted to cry and scream at the same time....i swore to myself that day that i would do everything in my power to stop it, i would fight, write letters, create groups, organise protests and demonstrations, stop eating animals and now stand naked, i had to do that because if i didn't i would never be able to sleep at night thinking of what wrong is going on and me not doing anything about it....

Doesn't that make me part of the crime to?

Well i think it does...so to step aside from my fur campaign for a day to ask this as a plee......

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO COVERS THESE ISSUES IN DENMARK?
IS THERE SOMEONE I CAN GET HOLD OF TO FIND OUT IF SOMETHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT THIS?

Please help, because if you can remember your 'Melindie Moment' then you know what she is going through...

Have a fabulous rest!

Kindness and a lot of Hope
