I never had the chance to write a post yesterday because they were fixing my computer. Sorry about that.

But i do come baring good news... I was in the Randburg Sun and they quoted me...one of the things i repetitively say is...i want to create awareness and i want things to change...low and behold, i said that and they printed it, weird right?
So thanks to the KFC demo done by Sarah i got to say my words...Thanks!

I have to unfortunately address the fact that fashion week is coming up in New York and unfortunately it's winter there and winter means barbaric fur coats - Even Donna Karin after saying she wasn't going to use fur is now launching her new range using...yip....fur.
Poor Anneke from Fur Free SA is pulling her hair out...and i feel like doing that too.

Why is it that as soon as you feel that you are getting somewhere, winter happens and New York sets you back...damn Americans! I HATE FASHION WEEK! It's not like i always have, i used to love looking at the latest and greatest and trying to look like those models...but after taking a really good look at the fashion world and that's all the way down to hair styles....it's a crock of shit! (excuse my language)

I mean these people define themselves by what they wear? and that actually includes dead animals? And also the fact that child labour is supported by the clothing industry, i mean look at the people to...I've worked with people that think the latest Armani is the way to go...i was like that for a very long time and let me tell you something-

You will NEVER be happy if you think that way...NEVER!

I promise and you know why i say that...because you cant base your happiness on cotton or silk or dead animal...it wont prevail. It's a lie, all of it...that world of fancy clothes and jewellery eating caviar in the latest cocktail lounge looking at others seeing whether or not they are in season....it's all a joke. Even Victoria Beckam is now using crocodile skin for her latest range of bags...

You know what....

I'D RATHER WALK AROUND NAKED THAN WEAR INJUSTICE!

So yes, I'm resigning from the fashion world and putting away my cosmopolitan which i considered a life support and saying, NO I WONT BE A FASHION VICTIM...GET LOST!

It's so great to have the coverage for this...now more than A LOT of people will know about the cruel ways of KFC, which is exactly why i did it...

Now onto the WTF news....

This Chinese girl, ripped the ducklings necks off with her feet!

And she took pictures and she's smiling...What a psycho!

Arg, you know the thing is you do a demonstration and hope that things are going to change and really believe it and then you go searching for something on the net and come across this!

It's like it is never ending and that a happy free world for animals will never be in my life time... WHY IS THAT?

It's honestly not fair!

But i know that if i keep on persisting i will make a change...after all you only need one person to do something great...

KFC can stick it!

So today i went to a demonstration - my first of course

 I basically went from work changed from a skirt to a pair of jeans in the car and then sat in a wire cage to protest about the fact that chickens are getting slaughtered in inhumane ways in order to fill up that bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken that you all love...

So basically i was taking that lil bubbled saying of - IGNORANCE IS BLISS and popping it in front of everyone that paid attention and letting them know that KFC are murderers.



IT WAS FUN :)

There were a lot of newspaper reporters there and they took stax of pics...STAX!

I'll go and check the newspapers and if they have pics I'll put them up....it'll be fun to see.

So one BIG THANK YOU for Sarah who helped arranged all the people to come together for this.

It was a great event with good intentions and with a hopeful great ending and the best part....IT FELT AWESOME!

Think about making 45min about solely animals...you'll be surprised as to how good it feels.

I'm so sorry my posts have been short recently, it's just that I'm so crazy busy with stuff that doing the simplest thing like writing on spread the word is hard....i rarely have time! But i try my utmost best to fit everything in...it's just that EVERYTHING around me is of so much importance...everything is BIG....well that's how i see it through my lil green eyes...i cant stop caring about things.

It's hard to prioritize...i mean how do you prioritize things when you have the lives of others in your hands, we all do really...if we have the power to stop these crimes i talk about

FUR - MEAT AKA ANIMAL FOOD - CIRCUSES - LEATHER - BESTIALITY - BULL FIGHTING - THE BLOOD FIESTA'S  - AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON....

That's a lot for someone to think about....that's why I'm so excited for the anti-fur campaign...i want to see the people there showing that they care about at least one of these things. And that will full my heart with joy to see how animals will slowly start getting a voice...because people in South Africa will care....we will show the world that in South Africa we do fight for animal justice and that it is only the beginning.

It's a good thought huh?

My boyfriends Matthew is AMAZING and one of his amazing skills are cooking...he's come up with a bean curry....yummy, now believe me i hated beans but after this curry....yum i cant get enough I'll ask him for the recipe and then you guys can try it to...it'll be totally worth it!
